FAQs
IS COACHING WORTH IT?
The answer to this is really unique to the individual. For some people, a divorce coach is an integral part of their support network. Others may find that therapy or the support of friends and family is more of what they need. You’re the best judge of whether coaching is right for you.
HOW MUCH DO YOUR SESSIONS COST?
I have two coaching packages that offer an initial assessment accompanied by 6 hours ($750) or 12 hours ($1250) of coaching. The initial session is an hour long, and you can book sessions in 45-, 60-, or 90-minute increments after that.
DO YOU BILL INSURANCE?
I do not bill insurance since coaching services are not typically covered.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?
The biggest difference is scope. In coaching sessions we are focused on a particular issue, like burnout, while therapy may have a larger frame, like self-worth or communication style. Coaching and therapy each involve a journey of self-discovery, but coaching incorporates more practical aspects, focuses exclusively on the problem at hand, and is often more directive.
DO PEOPLE EVER START OFF COACHING WITH YOU AND SWITCH TO THERAPY WITH YOU?
As great as it would be to continue working with some of the awesome people I’ve helped over the years, I never mix therapy and coaching clients.
